Rebeca Gomez Castillo, doctoral student in the group 'Inorganic Spectroscopy' under the supervision of Prof. Serena DeBeer (MPI CEC) successfully defended her thesis (Advanced X-ray Spectroscopic Techniques and New Applications to Metalloenzymes and Biomimetic Complexes) on March 31st, 2021. Like some other IMPRS-RECHARGE students before, Rebeca had to defend her dissertation via video chat due to the current situation. We congratulate Rebeca on her success.
