On September 30, 2019, Christian Froese, doctoral student in the 'Laboratory of Industrial Chemistry' headed by Prof. Martin Muhler at Ruhr University Bochum, defended his doctorate successfully. The title of his doctoral thesis is "Mechanistic studies on the synthesis of higher alcohols over bimetallic catalysts".
