Research areas: High-Throughput-Methods in Catalysis, Nanostructured Catalysts, Design of Meso- and Microporous Solids, Nucleation and Crystal Growth, Hydrogen Storage Materials, Biomass Conversion
The group focusses on innovative methods for the synthesis of - mostly - nanostructured catalysts. These are employed in a variety of different reactions, including biomass conversion, fuel cell reactions, methane and acetylene conversion to valuable products, and others. The synthetic and catalytic work is supported by state of the art analysis both with instrumentation available within the group and in cooperation with the service groups of the Institute.
