The Materials and Catalysis Group at UDE investigates structure-function relationships of nanostructured catalysts. We aim at understanding and controlling of the formation chemistry of meta-stable solids to tailor their properties. Reactivity trends within carefully synthesized materials series are studied in catalytic reactions like hydrogenation of carbon dioxide or oxidation of water.
