All students have to be signed up as doctoral candidates in one of the participating universities and will receive their degrees from these. Therefore the process of graduation is subject to the regulations (‚ÄúPromotionsordnungen‚ÄĚ) of the respective institution. You can download the regulations by clicking on the respective workgroups.

Every student is supported by a thesis advisory committee which consists of at least two IMPRS-RECHARGE members, including the leader of the member group in which the thesis work is performed. The thesis advisory committee meets regularly with the student to discuss and control the progress of the thesis work.
